My name is Sohaib Mirza, and I come from Lodhran—a small city in South Punjab, Pakistan. I grew up in a simple home with no special advantages, but I always had big dreams, a love for learning, and the belief that I could change my future.
I studied in local schools and colleges in Lodhran. There were no fancy facilities, just hard work and determination. Education was my way to a better life, so I focused on it completely. I earned my BBA from BZU Multan and later completed my MBA in Marketing from FAST Islamabad in 2015. For me and my family, this was a huge achievement—a boy from a small town making it to a top university.
But success didn’t come easily. My first job after graduation paid only 18,000 PKR per month. It was a tough sales and marketing role—long hours, low pay, and no glamour. But I kept going. Over the next few years, I worked at different software companies, slowly moving up to become a Digital Marketing Manager. Life was stable, but I wanted more.
In 2018, I started freelancing on the side. I still remember finishing my first project late at night after my full-time job. One client led to more, and soon, my freelance income was higher than my salary. That’s when I realized—I didn’t need a job to succeed.
So, I took the risk.
I quit my job and never turned back.
Today, I’m one of the most in-demand freelancers on Fiverr for App Store Optimization (ASO). I’ve worked with over 3,200 clients from 50+ countries and maintained a 4.9/5 rating. What began as a side hustle became a global career.
But I didn’t stop there.
I now run my own e-commerce brand in the UAE and co-founded an e-commerce agency in Lodhran—the same city where my journey started. I’m creating opportunities in the place I once dreamed of escaping.
I also help software companies and healthcare clinics with digital marketing strategies. Whether it’s planning campaigns or growing brands, I use everything I’ve learned to help others succeed.
Most importantly, I never stop learning. I read books, take courses, and seek knowledge every day. My goal? To be among the top 1% of digital marketers—not for fame, but to prove that your background doesn’t define your future.
If you’re reading this and come from a small town like me, if you’re stuck in a job that doesn’t appreciate you, or if people tell you to “be realistic”—remember this:
Your start doesn’t decide your future. Only your effort does.
I went from Lodhran to the world—and you can too.
